LE AMBIGUE

A nomadic collective of biohackers witches who see little difference between a speculum and a sex toy. They weave together like a spell, biomaterials, DIY biology, gynaecology and lubricants for the pleasure of self-exploration.

Born from the union of ALMA Futura, which studies and develops tools for radical change in vaginal and gender health, and Bruixes-Lab, a nomadic laboratory of biohacking, sextech and witchcraft rituals. Founded by Cristina Dezi, Isabel Farina and Giulia Tomasello.

The collective is investigating the rebellious act of re-imagining science, alchemy and gyneacology as alternative forms of care, knowledge and pleasure. How can we re-frame pleasure through spells and rituals and free our eroticism from the violence of racist and misogynist medical claims?

The starting point is the violence from which gynaecology was born but the ending one is pleasure as anti-colonial, anti-patriarchal and anti-capitalist.

The collective works are Sx-Pleasuration, Santa Sangre and On/scenity made of participatory practices, workshops, radical education and performances.

Sx-Pleasuration

is an interdisciplinary and participatory workshop aimed to explore a familiar but unpleasant object of our intimacy: the speculum. We explore gynecological visit experiences, pleasure and health, feminist self-exploration to re-imagine future scenarios on exploring our body.

SANTA SANGRE

We have been taught to be ashamed of the dirtiness and impurity of our bodies.
We have been taught to keep certain things private, to silence our flesh, to fear stains, smells, colors, and the sensation of liquid between our legs.
We have been told to repress our desires and pleasures, to be ashamed of exposing and wetting our hands with our bodily fluids.
The time has come to gather in new covens, under new moons, to seal new manifestations and return to frightening the night.

ON/SCENITY

We also perform our techno-ritual to invoke biopolitical incantations.
Through wearables, biosensors, and biomaterials, the body becomes a living interface.
Collected fluids are sonified in real time using open-source software and transformed into sounds, voices, and immersive landscapes that embody a transfeminist manifesto.
The project draws on the legacy of witches and goddesses as guardians of forbidden knowledge.
